Our latest effort is the release of the new VacantExpress.com® system, an online, web-based product that allows our producers to quote, bind and issue policies completely electronically—without the need for an underwriter to be involved. The beauty of this system is its ease of use; it can be accessed by you at any time and, in most cases, you do not need to wait for an underwriter to confirm that the account is bound. |
| VacantExpress.com offers admitted paper for most accounts, allowing the retail agents to place their business without the need of an intermediary and without the additional costs of excess & surplus lines taxes associated with non-admitted paper. The insured receives coverage faster and at a much cheaper final cost and, if the account is handled completely electronically (without underwriter intervention), you receive up to a generous 17.5% commission. |
| Of course, if the account is not eligible for admitted paper we stand ready to provide coverage on non-admitted paper with J.H. Ferguson representing you as the wholesale broker. The account will be referred to our experienced underwriters and we will pay the producer 15% commission. Once again, you will not require an additional intermediary to slow the process or to dilute the commission you will earn. |
