How Does It Work?
If the policy is eligible, a Quotation will be mailed to you approximately 65
days prior to its expiration. If the Insured wishes to continue coverage with
us, simply indicate that on our Quotation and forward it back to us. We will
respond promptly with a Binder. As noted above, an application will not be
required until the third renewal period. The Renewal Certificate will then be
processed and mailed out.
If we do not hear from you, we will forward 2 reminder notices. If the risk
expires, we will forward a notice to inform you the Insured no longer has
coverage in force with us.
Our current solicitation method will be used for all other risks that are not
eligible for the Automatic Renewal Quote Program. A new application will be
required for these risks each year.
CEMETERY PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY
CNA has recently cancelled their cemetery package program effective 12/31/2000.
Part of the coverage for this program was professional liability coverage.
J. H. Ferguson & Associates, LLC is a market for the professional liability for
cemeteries and funeral homes. We have the capability of writing limits up to
$10 million on this class.
We can review a risk from any professional liability application and provide
an indication if there is sufficient information. However, we will need our
cemetery/memorial park application (L321) before binding.
*** PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT WRITE GENERAL LIABILITY FOR THIS CLASS ***
HOME INSPECTORS E & O
Did you know that J. H. Ferguson & Associates, LLC writes home inspectors E & O?
We recently started writing this class in 2000. We are interested in residential home
inspectors only, not those that do industrial or commercial work. Our premiums are quite
competitive on this class.
We use our insurance company inspector's application at this time, but we can review
a risk from any reasonable application.
SOFTWARE PROFESSIONALS E & O
As of January 1, 2001 we will no longer be requiring the Y2K supplements on our software
professional risks. All we need is the fully completed Application GNR 1989. This will make
it easier to submit risks and cut down on paperwork.
